中文摘要:目的 调查晚发型阿尔茨海默病(late onset Alzheimer's disease, LOAD)和血管性痴呆(vascular dementia, VAD)老年患者血清同型半胱氨酸、尿酸、氢过氧化物、硫醇、氧化蛋白产物以及抗氧化水平,探讨其临床意义。方法 选取LOAD患者89例、VAD患者54例和正常对照48例,测定受试者血清同型半胱氨酸、尿酸、氢过氧化物、硫醇、氧化蛋白产物、总抗氧化以及残留抗氧化水平。结果 与对照组比较,LOAD组和VAD组患者血清中同型半胱氨酸、尿酸、氢过氧化物显著升高(P<0.05),残留的抗氧化能力显著降低(P<0.05);同时,LOAD组和VAD组患者氢过氧化物水平比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 测定血浆同型半胱氨酸、尿酸、氢过氧化物以及残留抗氧化水平,对诊断LOAD和VAD可提供一定的帮助;氢过氧化物水平可作为区分LOAD和VAD患者的诊断指标之一。

Homocysteine, Uric Acid, and Oxidative Stress Levels in Older Patients with Late Onset Alzheimer's Disease and Vascular Dementia
Abstract:Objective To investigate the homocysteine, uric acid, hydroperoxides, thiols, advanced oxidation protein products, and total and residual antioxidant power levels of the late onset Alzheimer's disease (LOAD) and vascular dementia (VAD) older patients, and to investigate their clinical significances. Methods Serum levels of homocysteine, uric acid, hydroperoxides, thiols, advanced oxidation protein products, and total and residual antioxidant power were assessed in 89 LOAD, 54 VAD patients and 48 controls. Results Compared with the control group, the homocysteine, uric acid and hydroperoxide were significantly increased in the LOAD group and the VAD group (P<0.05), and the residual antioxidant power was significantly decreased (P<0.05). There was a significant difference in the level of hydroperoxide between the LOAD group and the VAD group (P<0.05). Conclusion It is very helpful for the diagnosis of LOAD and VAD by detecting the homocysteine, uric acid, hydroperoxide and residual antioxidant power of the older patients. Hydroperoxide levels can be used as one of the diagnostic criteria for distinguishing LOAD and VAD patients.
