鼻息肉组织VEGF、TGF-β1表达水平与病理特征及微血管密度的相关性

中文摘要:目的 探讨鼻息肉组织血管内皮细胞生长因子(VEGF)、转化生长因子-β1(TGF-β1)表达水平及其与病理特征及微血管密度(MVD)的相关性。方法 应用免疫组织化学法检测68例鼻息肉组织及30例下鼻甲黏膜组织中VEGF、TGF-β1及CD34的表达水平, 分析其与病理特征的关系。结果 鼻息肉组织中VEGF、TGF-β1蛋白的阳性表达率分别为58.82%、66.18%, 显著高于下鼻甲黏膜组织中的阳性表达率16.67%、20.00%(χ2=14.90、17.78, P<0.05), 且鼻息肉组织中VEGF、TGF-β1阳性率与病理类型、临床分期、息肉数、复发与否明显相关(P<0.05);鼻息肉组织中的MVD计数明显高于下鼻甲黏膜组织(P<0.05), Ⅱ型3期、Ⅲ型患者MVD显著高于Ⅱ型1期、2期, 嗜酸粒细胞性、复发、多发者MVD高于嗜中性粒细胞性、非复发、单发者(P<0.05);鼻息肉组织VEGF、TGF-β1表达水平与MVD计数水平呈正相关(r=0.641、0.778, P<0.05)。结论 鼻息肉组织中VEGF、TGF-β1呈过度表达状态, 且与MVD计数呈正相关, 共同参与了鼻息肉发生、发展的过程, 有望为鼻息肉的治疗提供新的思路。

Correlation between Expression of VEGF, TGF-β1 in Tissue of Nasal Polyps and Pathological Characteristics and MVD
Abstract:Objective To study the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF), transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1) in tissue of nasal polyps, and explore its correlation with pathological characteristics and microvascular density (MVD). Methods The expression of VEGF, TGF-β1 and CD34 in the tissue of nasal polyps (n=68) and inferior turbinate mucosa (n=30) were detected by using immunohistochemical staining.The correlation between three indicators above and pathological features were analyzed. Results The positive expression rate of VEGF, TGF-β1 protein in nasal polyps was 58.82%, 66.18%, which was significantly higher than 16.67%, 20.00% of inferior turbinate mucosa (χ2=14.90, 17.78, P<0.05). The rates were remarkably correlated with pathological type, clinical stage, number of polyps, recurrence (P<0.05). There was significant difference on the count of MVD in nasal polyps and inferior turbinate mucosa (P<0.05). The expression of MVD in nasal polyps of type Ⅱ phase 3 and type Ⅲ was higher than that in nasal polyps of type Ⅱ phase 1 and type Ⅱ phase 2, and the expression of MVD in eosinophilic, recurrent, multiple nasal polyps was higher than that in neutrophil, non-recurrent, single nasal polyps(P<0.05). The count of MVD in breast cancer was positive correlated with VEGF, TGF-β1 (r=0.641, 0.778, P<0.05). Conclusion The expression of VEGF, TGF-β in tissue of nasal polyps is over-expressive, and positive related with MVD. They are involved in the process of the development of nasal polyps, and would be expected to provide a new method for the treatment of nasal polyps.
